How to arrive
TO Bertinoro
From Milan
Landing at any airport in Milan:
First go to Milano Centrale Train Station:
- Linate LIN: from the arrival area follow the signs to the metro line M4 “blue line”. Get off at “San Babila” (seven stops from Linate) and transfer to M1 “red line” (direction: “Sesto”) and get off at “Loreto” (four stops). Finally, board the M2 “green line” (direction: Assago/Abbiategrasso) and get off at “Centrale FS” (two stops). It seems complicated but it is in fact fast and simple.
- Orio al Serio BGY: outside the arrival area board a bus to Milano Centrale.
- Malpensa MXP: from the airport arrival area follow the sign to the train station located underground and take the train (Malpensa Express) to Milano Centrale (some trains go to Milano Cadorna, which is in a different part of the city; if you take one of these, get off at Milano Garibaldi and then from there take the metro line M2 “green line” to Milano Centrale, which is only two stops away).
From Milano Centrale Train Station: Buy a train ticket to Forlì or Cesena. Usually a highspeed train to Bologna (1 h from Milan) and then transfer to a regular train. Forlimpopoli-Bertinoro is also a train station. You can consider it, but it is not recommended as it is a small station and trains are infrequent. From Forlì or Cesena, to reach CeUB take a taxi in front of train stations (about € 30; Ph: +39 0543 31111 from Forlì – +39 0547 610710 from Cesena). Otherwise, take the bus line #92 connecting Forlì and Cesena from outside the train station in Forlì. Get off in Forlimpopoli and catch a second bus, line #121 to Bertinoro. Links to the timetables:
